Metric Geo are partnered with a top engineering firm to find a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their Power Generation team. The Role

As a technical lead , you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering power generation projects , ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. You’ll oversee key electrical system designs, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design , including one-line diagrams, schematics, and system calculations .
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analysis using ETAP or SKM .
• Develop equipment specifications and manage procurement processes.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure project quality and compliance.
• Work closely with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power generation electrical design .
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, relays, and control systems .
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE/ANSI standards , and industry best practices.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
