We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in financial analysis, reporting, and administrative support while contributing to the success of our organization. Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in managing accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and vendor relationship management.
• Support grant management efforts by tracking funding, coding invoices, and communicating effectively with grant providers.
• Maintain and update financial records using systems such as bill.com and Microsoft Excel.
• Develop and utilize spreadsheets in Excel, including creating formulas and formatting data for analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage sensitive financial discussions and document key decisions.
• Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling and communication between the executive team and board members.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity when handling financial and administrative information.• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in formulas, formatting, and spreadsheet management.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as bill.com and other accounting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in accounts payable, vendor management, and/or grant management is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
