Assembly Operator I (2nd shift), you will be responsible for
: - Polish and test fiber optic cables. Assemble and package fiber optic connector components.
- Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
- Inspect own work using quality standards and work instructions.
- Conduct tests as needed for particular operations.
- Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices.
- Inspect product to print. Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product.
- May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment. General housekeeping of work area.
- Follow company and department guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Follow safety guidelines. Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
- Read and perform tasks according to drawings. Recognize common fiber connectors.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and contamination assessment for optical assembly.
This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: - Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school Diploma / GED.
- Minimum one year manufacturing experience required.
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing fiber cables preferred.
- SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading.
Schedule: 2nd shift - 3pm-11:30pm.
Pay Range*: $17/hr. - $19.37/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
