A Writing Room is a dynamic and growing community developed by and for writers at all skill levels. Our team creates educational content and hosts a yearly in-person conference, which is recorded and streamed live to our community members.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Video Producer to join our team and grow with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in video production and a keen eye for detail. While some experience in a creative field is preferred, we provide training on our studio equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and edit high-quality video content
• Perform color correction of raw video footage
• Compile social media assets
• Record and edit audiobooks
• Assist with studio setup and takedown
• Work with speakers and authors to ensure they are comfortable and able to record high-quality content

Equipment and Software:

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Descript
• DaVinci Resolve
• BlackMagic Studio 4k Cameras
• BlackMagic Studio Switcher
• Universal Audio Apollo x8

Qualifications:

• Some experience in video production and/or editing
• Familiarity with the listed hardware and software (preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
