To find out more visit our website at **.****About the role**MSS Security are seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team as a **Full Time Reliever** at Monash University in **Clayton**. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus. You will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, securing buildings, and providing support to students, staff, and visitors.**Duties include but are not limited to:*** Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.* Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.* Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.* Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.* Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.* Communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.**Ideal candidates will have:*** Excellent communication skills.* Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.* Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.* Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.**Requirements:*** Full Australian working rights.* Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).* Valid Victorian Security licence.* Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.* Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).* First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).**Master License Number:** 409-987-30S## **How to apply**MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.We are proud to:* be certified by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency,* be a partner and supporter of Veterans employment and honoured to have an endorsed INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan.
