American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring ARRT and BLS certifications and expertise with Siemens X-ray equipment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a hospital-based X-ray unit covering outpatient, inpatient, OR, and emergency room settings
  • Position involves evening shifts, 5x8 hours, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Includes rotating weekends (every 3rd) and required holiday coverage
  • Perform radiologic and X-ray procedures across a wide range of anatomical areas including extremities, abdomen, GI, spine, pelvis, head, and chest/thorax
  • Uses Siemens X-ray equipment and scanners
  • Experience or training in Surgery (OR) case coverage is highly desirable
  • Responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare staff for optimal patient care
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection is required
  • Holiday and weekend work is part of the schedule
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Former employees may return as travelers if away from the facility for at least 6 months
  • Current employees are not eligible for traveler contracts at any Ohio State University hospital location
  • Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
  • Request for time off must be submitted and approved as part of the contract

  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • State license as a Radiologic Technologist required if applicable
  • Proficiency in radiologic procedures for outpatient, inpatient, OR, and ER patients
  • Strong skills in X-ray imaging, Phlebotomy, EKGs, and Biopsies
  • Familiarity with Siemens equipment essential
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
  • Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
