Focus Staff is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Baudette, Minnesota.

Unit Notes:Department: Med Tech
*Certifications: BLS, AMT - MLT or MLS *OR* ASCP - MLT or MLS*
NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT

* * Must have 1+ year of travel experience. Must be a Generalist, must be experienced with blood bank, manual diff & phlebotomy. Must be able to work independently in Critical Access lab setting * *

- Years Experience Required?: MLT must have 3+ years experience in blood bank and 2+ years experience performing manual diffs. MT must have 1+ years experience in blood bank and 1+ years experience in performing manual diffs.

- Travel Experience Required?: At least 1+ year of travel experience.
- What areas do they cover?: Hematology, Coag, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Blood Bank
- Do they need to be a Generalist?: Must be a generalist.
- Do they need to perform Phlebotomy?: Will perform phlebotomy
- LIS System (ie. Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, BioTracer, etc.): Meditech
- EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area?: Meditech
- Is there a Lab Manager/Supervisor on each shift?: No, they must be able to work on their own.
- Do you staff lab assistants?: No
- Shifts & Scheduling Details: Monday - Friday (Day Shifts) starting at 7AM, 8AM or 9AM. Plus on - call 1/2 nights per week and 1 out of every 3 weekends. On call starts at 5:30 PM - 7AM the next day. For weekend call it starts at 5:30 pm on Friday until Monday at 7AM.
- Do you allow self-scheduling or Block scheduling?: No
- Weekend Requirements: Yes, on call 1 out of every 3 weekends
