\n\nJob Details:
\n• 2.5 years of ED experience required, 1 year of neuro/stroke experience, 2 previous travel assignments
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6, strive to keep ratios at 1:4 but often go 1:5 or may need to take 6th in emergent situations
\n• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
\n• Float required within scope to like units
\n• Must have experience with level 1 resuscitation patients
\n• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
\n• Daily census of 92 visits per day with 25 rooms and 30 beds
\n• 24 hours of orientation required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (preferred)
\n• Scrub color: any color allowed, no tee shirts, sweat shirts, or logos from other organizations
\n• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no locals)
\n• Florida or compact RN license required
\n• Modules are required pre-start (non-billable, 4 hours average)
\n• May need to precept students and other new staff members
\n• Work with STEMI Center and Primary Stroke Center protocols
\n• 3 call outs results in termination
\n• Holiday requirements based on number of holidays during assignment
\n• RTO limited to no more than 10 days with additional 2 weeks added to assignment

\nThis acute care hospital features 210 total staffed beds and operates as both a STEMI Center and Primary Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The hospital utilizes Meditech charting system and offers free parking in unrestricted spaces for staff.
