As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence across an educational location. Your role will involve helping to deter potential security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue05:30 PM - 12:30 AMThur10:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general information about the location as needed.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and working with local authorities when required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
