As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to foster a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will interact with the public and respond to a variety of situations with professionalism and integrity, reflecting Allied Universal's values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. Your role will also involve clear communication and collaboration with team members, as well as supporting the overall atmosphere of care that is central to our company culture. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
