As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail area and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as suspicious behavior or property damage, according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders as needed to address concerns and provide assistance.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences.
• Follow all company and site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols to help maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
