Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various bindery equipment to ensure high-quality production of printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of the printing process, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including cutting, folding, stitching, and binding machines.
• Ensure quality control throughout the production process by inspecting finished products for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with prepress and graphic design teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Utilize color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction in printed materials.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Operate pallet jacks for material handling when necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the manufacturing environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bindery or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in layout design and typography, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with digital printing, wide format operations, plastic coil binding, case binding, tab cutting, cutting, raised spot uv, embroidery, dtf printing , and bindery is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
