Job Description

Overview Managing Director responsible for developing business through relationships and opportunities and leading, managing, and directing staff in performing analysis, examination, review, assessment, and testing in a wide variety of client engagements. Serves as a designated point of contact with client personnel on engagements; strong communication skills and presence are required. Also responsible for business development initiatives. Job Duties Develop business through relationships, contacts, and other opportunities Lead and participate in client discussions and meetings; communicate with clients in an organized, knowledgeable manner, delivering clear, concise and accurate documents and requests Analyze the current business environment, understand client needs, assess risks, and identify recommendations/areas of improvement Lead in the development of business opportunities and proposals Develop industry-specific thought leadership articles and communications Develop and execute a business development plan identifying opportunities for the Forensics Practice and other business lines Aide in the development of targeted and industry-specific marketing materials Monitor and implement industry trends and best practices; foster a positive, team-focused environment Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises day-to-day workload of staff assigned to assist with pursuits and opportunities Acts as Career Advisor to Managers, Senior Associates and Associates Evaluates performance of Compliance Managers, Senior Associates and Associates and assists in goal development Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education Bachelor’s degree, required MBA or JD, preferred Experience Eight (8) or more years of experience in developing business and managing relationships, required Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, required Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and customer risk rating tools, preferred Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong business development and leadership skills Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work independently or in a group Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the firm Ability to manage a team of professionals and delegate as needed Ability to build and maintain strong client and internal relationships Individual salaries offered are determined after consideration of qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
