Human Resources Generalist

Schedule : MondayThursday 7:00 AM5:00 PM | Friday 7:00 AM11:00 AM | Every other Friday remote

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and people-focusedHuman Resources Generalistto join our HR team and support a growing production workforce across a three-building campus. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys walking the floor to connect with employees, and is passionate about improving the employee experience.

Youll work closely with HR Business Partners and leadership to deliver high-impact HR support, drive engagement initiatives, and ensure smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to hourly employees and supervisors
• Lead onboarding and orientation processes, including I-9 verification and badge creation
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
• Process employee changes (promotions, terminations, compensation updates, etc.)
• Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and new hire follow-ups
• Support payroll audits and address payroll-related issues
• Assist with employee relations investigations and basic ER issues
• Walk the shop floor daily to build relationships and foster a positive work culture
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and community events
• Administer LMS and track employee referrals and bonuses
• Prepare HR communications and support HR trainings and meetings
• Ensure compliance with safety and PPE requirements on the production floor

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an HR Generalist or Coordinator role, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to walk 8,00012,000 steps per day across multiple buildings
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred
• Bachelors degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
