Job Title: Fabrication Welder
Job Description

This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical duties related to mechanical, fabrication, machining, assembly, plumbing, and debugging of custom-built machinery, dies, and fixtures. The position's classifications differ based on the mastery level of essential functions, the degree of supervision required, and the lead direction provided to others.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues in a production environment.
• Repair basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
• Provide support in areas of fabrication, assembly, welding, and machining.
• Assemble and debug modified and custom-designed equipment, dies, and fixtures with engineering supervision.
• Work from oral and written instructions.
• Maintain adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Understand engineering drawings.
• Perform simple repairs on equipment with engineering supervision.
• Assist engineering and maintenance in the debugging of simple custom-designed equipment.
• Perform basic fabrication, assembly, welding, and machining.
• Assume other duties as assigned by leadership.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess basic machinist tools.
• Ability to work from oral and written instructions.
• Capable of fabricating, machining, and assembling components with engineering supervision.
• Basic skills in the operation of machine shop equipment.
• Basic skills in sheet metal fabrication.
• Minimum of 2 years of machine shop experience.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
