About the Role
The Company is in search of a full-time Executive Director to spearhead its fundraising and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a creative, high-energy individual with a strong passion for the organization's mission. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, engaging with donors, and collaborating with staff and volunteers to enhance the organization's presence and brand. The role demands a self-starter with a proven track record in donor-facing fundraising, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Executive Director will also be responsible for representing the organization at various events, maintaining an active social media presence, and seeking out opportunities for the organization's leaders to connect with new communities and potential donors.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have 3-5+ years of experience in a development department, with a focus on donor-facing fundraising. The role requires a candidate who is a passionate advocate for the organization's values and mission, and who can project a professional image consistent with those values. Strong organizational, communicative, and writing skills are essential, as is experience with CRM software. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the US Board of Directors, the Israeli network, and other stakeholders to ensure the organization's strategic growth and to keep abreast of developments and opportunities within the network.
