SkyTech Security has openings for seasonal Event Officers in the Chicagoland area.

This opportunity is the perfect way to earn money while maintaining a flexible school/work schedule and gaining work experience in event management and operations.

Job Description: 
SkyTech Security Services is seeking dependable and customer service-oriented individuals for the City of Chicago Farmer’s Markets. Security experience is not required . Event Staff must be willing to work in all weather conditions, will maintain an orderly crowd, restrict access to certain areas, prevent theft and risk of injuries all while providing a high level of customer service. Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License or ID
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check

Physical Demands:

• Must be capable of standing/walking for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift a min. 50 lbs. (must be able to push, pull, carry and lift)
• Must be able to work outdoors subject to various weather conditions
• Must be able to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties at the events

Work Schedule:  Saturdays, September 12th, September 19th & September 26th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at various locations

Location:  Chicago, IL

Salary: $13.00/hr.

Events start date: September 12, 2020

Events end date: September 26, 2020

Work Authorization: United States (required)
