Overview: Join SimVentions, a celebrated workplace, as an Intel COMSEC Specialist! We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to elevate our cybersecurity operations. In this role, you will focus on system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security compliance to meet DoD standards. If you have a strong foundation in cybersecurity and experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments in DoD networks, we want to hear from you! Collaborate with our Blue Team, Red Team, and other cybersecurity experts on essential cyber readiness and system accreditation efforts.

* This position is contingent upon the award of a contract expected in December of 2025.

Clearance: An ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance is required. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is needed to qualify for a clearance.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clear presentations.
• Possession of one of the following DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III baseline certifications:
• CASP+ CE
• CCNP Security
• CISA
• CISSP (Associate)
• CISSP
• GCED
• GCIH
• CCSP

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with personnel to confirm storage requirements.
• Oversee monthly and annual COMSEC management activities.
• Track status of CCI equipment and rekeys.
• Ensure the operation of primary GemOne workstations and coordinate with system administrators for updates and security controls.
• Manage the Tactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) network.
• Provide troubleshooting support.
• Handle TACLANE configuration management.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

A cumulative total of ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in the following areas:

• Collaborating with personnel for verification of storage requirements.
• Coordinating monthly and annual COMSEC management tasks.
• Tracking CCI equipment and rekey status.
• Maintaining operation of GemOne workstations.
• Managing the TACLANE network.
• Providing troubleshooting assistance.
• Handling TACLANE configuration management.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

Compensation: Our compensation package considers various factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance, work location, and a strong alignment with our corporate compensation plan. The expected annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $180,000 (USD).
