Job Description
Scaletta Armoring, an automotive remanufacturer located in Bedford Park, IL has an immediate need for a certified welder. We offer the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· MIG welding
· Fabricating
· Plasma cutting
· Grinding
· Various labor duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Experience & certified in MIG welding
· Fabrication skills
· Ability to read blueprints & drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout & procedures
· Certified to weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions
· Torch and plasma cutting
· Ability to use of portable grinder, hand file, and/or scraper as needed
· Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
*U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS*
