Responsible for overseeing warehouse receiving operations, ensuring efficient and accurate offloading, inspection, and inventory management of inbound shipments. This role requires strong leadership to guide a team while maintaining food safety and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate unloading and documentation of shipments.
Lead and train warehouse staff, promoting efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and pallet jacks for safe material handling.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and management to resolve any receiving discrepancies.
Ensure all received goods meet quality standards before being stored or distributed.
Work in a cold storage environment while performing daily tasks.
Lift and move up to 50 lbs independently as needed.
Job Requirements:
**Bilingual (English/Spanish)
**– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
**Leadership Experience
**– Prior supervisory or lead role in a warehouse setting.
**Forklift & Pallet Jack Experience
**– Certification preferred.
**Receiving Experience
**– Previous work in a warehouse receiving environment.
**Basic Computer Skills
**– Ability to use inventory management systems.
**Physical Stamina
**– Comfortable working in cold conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Schedule: 1:30am-10am Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat
Days Off: Wednesday, Sunday
