Sora Investors is a fundamental equity investment manager specializing in global technology markets. Since founding in September 2021, the firm has grown to manage over $3.5 billion GMV for investors.
Role
The analyst will diligence public equities investments with a focused universe.She/he will receive mentorship to develop into a primary risk-taker with proven competence and contribution. Analysts are the alpha engine driving our strategy and business and this role has potential for unbounded impact and compensation.
Responsibilities
-Work closely with a PM on developing investment ideas
-Develop and maintain detailed company financial models with a focus on the KPI's driving value
-Conduct primary research and review public filings
-Develop long-term relationships through dialog with management teams of corporate issuers
-Contribute alpha generating investment ideas to the portfolio
Qualifications
-Passion for investing
-Financial modeling experience (likely developed in a prior hedge fund, equity research, investment banking, private equity or long-only buyside role)
-Prior long/short public equity experience could be helpful, but not required
-Evidence of academic success
