The ideal candidate will have strong accounting acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. This role is best suited for someone who is analytical, proactive, and confident managing client relationships and collections processes. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations across multiple entities. Monitor and maintain AR accounts, prepare aging reports, and drive resolution of outstanding balances. Handle a high volume of collection calls and correspondence while maintaining positive client relationships. Collaborate with finance, billing, and operations teams to streamline AR workflows and enhance collection efficiency. Oversee the preparation and submission of custom monthly AR reports and key performance metrics. Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations between accounting systems. Manage lien documentation, subcontractor payment setups, and vendor compliance requirements. Support technology integration and automation initiatives related to AR processes. Participate in weekly meetings to review delinquencies, discuss collection strategies, and recommend process improvements. Handle special projects and assist leadership with ad hoc financial tasks as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable and collections experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop required; familiarity with Deltek or Sage is a plus. Proven success managing high transaction volume and achieving collection goals. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
