Acquisitions & Oversight

Mr. McKeegan is the founder of MEI Real Estate Services in 1987 and a founding partner of MEI Capital Partners. He heads the company’s real estate acquisitions department and oversees all fundraising efforts.

Prior to establishing MEI, Mr. McKeegan worked in the acquisitions and management departments for Jones Lang LaSalle, then known as Jones Lang Wooten International. His primary focus of responsibility was the acquisition and repositioning of class “A” high rise office buildings for off-shore investors. Mr. McKeegan has served as President of the Institute of Real Estate Management – Los Angeles and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. McKeegan received a BA in business Marketing & Economics with a minor in Political Science from Niagara University, as well as a Juris Doctorate from Western State University School of Law. He holds real estate licenses in both California and Arizona, is a Certified Property Manager and additionally is a Certified Commercial Investment Member.

Marketing and Brokerage

Mr. Dillon joined MEI in 1995 after relocating to Southern California from the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently Vice President of the firm, Mr. Dillon has over twenty-three years of experience in the sales, acquisitions and leasing of real property in the Western United States.

Prior to joining the MEI team, Mr. Dillon worked with the Connolly Brothers Realty Group specializing in leasing, management and receivership for a diverse group of institutional and individual clients. During his tenure there, Mr. Dillon was involved with office, retail, multi-family residential and industrial properties throughout Northern California as well as in the Los Angeles area. From acquisition, to management, leasing, and final disposition, Mr. Dillon gained invaluable hands-on experience with many aspects of commercial real estate. Since Joining MEI, Mr. Dillon has specialized in the leasing, acquisition and sales of real estate assets throughout the Los Angeles basin and in the Southwestern United States. He has worked closely with clients to understand their individual needs and plan strategies for the optimal utilization of their assets. Mr. Dillon is a graduate of the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley, where his emphasis of study was Real Estate and Finance. He has traveled extensively throughout the world for both work and pleasure. Among other philanthropical endeavors, Mr. Dillon combines his love of the outdoors and bicycling with an annual ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to raise funds in the fight against the disease. Mr. Dillon lives hear the ocean in Manhattan Beach, California.

Asset Management

Mr. Rodney Stringer joined MEI Real Estate Services in 2013 and is currently the Vice President of Property Management.  Mr. Stringer’s twenty-eight (28) years of experience in property management and accounting along with great attention to detail helps make MEI Real Estate Services unique in the industry.  Mr. Stringer directs the Property Management division overseeing hundreds of millions of dollars in assets.

Prior to joining the MEI team, Mr. Stringer worked nearly ten (10) years with a prominent third-party asset management company based in Orange County and was an Assistant General Manager trained by an S&P 100 company and leader in the global retail real estate industry that owns or has an interest in more than 300 retail real estate properties in North America and Asia comprising approximately 240 million square feet.  During his tenure, Mr. Stringer was responsible for approximately 3 million square feet of property in and around the greater Los Angeles and Orange county areas and Arizona.  His knowledge, experience and training in property management, leasing and accounting contribute to the MEI Real Estate Services Team.

Mr. Stringer is a former President and a current Director on the Board of Directors of the Cooper Arms Homeowner’s Association, a CA, Non-Profit, Mutual Benefit Corporation. He is a Realtor and member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Pacific West Association of Realtors and the Community Association Institute. In addition to various industry memberships, Mr. Stringer is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.

Mr. Stringer is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles where he completed his B.A. degree in Economics. His study of business, real estate and a graduate level study in marketing, combined with his experience and dedication to the commercial real estate industry contributes to the confidence MEI instills in their clients.

Financial Management

Amy joined MEI in 1991 as the Chief Financial Officer. She oversees all aspects of the accounting and finance functions for a large portfolio of commercial, retail and residential properties.

Prior to MEI, she worked for KPMG Peat Marwick where she pursued her CPA designation and shortly thereafter joined Trammell Crow Company in the management and accounting for a 1.5 million square foot office complex located in Orange County. Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting from the University of California in Santa Barbara. Amy is married with two daughters and lives in Manhattan Beach, CA.
